How This Website And Our Listing Services May Be Used
This website is operated by Practice Succession Canada (“PSC”, “we”, “us”), an advisory firm that markets accounting, tax and bookkeeping practices for sale across Canada on behalf of their owners. Our contact details are at the foot of every page.
By using this website, registering as a buyer, requesting a valuation or a practice profile, or contacting us, you agree to these Terms Of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
PSC acts for the sellers of the practices we list, who pay our fee. We do not act for buyers and nothing on this site creates an agency, fiduciary or exclusive relationship between you and PSC unless you sign a written engagement agreement with us.
Information about listed practices comes from their owners. We do not audit or verify it and make no representation about its accuracy or completeness. Any purchase decision must rest on your own due diligence and on independent legal, tax and accounting advice.
The content of this site, including articles, province pages, the valuation calculator and any valuation range we provide, is general information. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment or valuation advice and must not be relied on as such. Multiples, timelines and figures are illustrative and change with the market and with the facts of each practice.
Listings are confidential summaries. They may be incomplete, may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice, and are not offers capable of acceptance. Full practice profiles are released only after you sign our Buyer Confidentiality And Non-Circumvention Agreement, which then governs your use of that information.
You must not use any information on this site to identify, contact or solicit a listed practice, its owner, clients or staff except through PSC.
Registering as a buyer is free and asks us to send you alerts about matching practices. Our Buyer Registration Terms, which you accept when you register, set out how alerts, confidentiality and non-circumvention work. In summary: alerts are confidential to you, you agree not to go around PSC on a practice we introduced, and you can cancel at any time.
When you submit a form we will email you a confirmation and may phone you. Form submissions and emails are commercial electronic messages under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation; you consent to receive them when you submit a form and you may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing us.
You agree not to scrape, copy or republish the site or its listings, not to submit false information, not to register on behalf of an undisclosed principal, not to interfere with the site’s operation and not to use it for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse or remove any registration or request at our discretion.
The site, its text, design, logos and the Practice Succession Canada name are owned by PSC or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own evaluation of a practice. Any other use needs our written permission.
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law PSC excludes all warranties, and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site, reliance on its content, any listing, or any transaction or failed transaction. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to one hundred dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for matters that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may change these terms by posting a new version with a new date; continued use is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
